These days blends/mash-ups have become completely predictable in their unpredictability. Oh, you took an serious old rock song and put it together with a shallow new hip-hop banger? I’ve never heard that before. But every so often someone still has the creativity to catch me off guard and force me to pay attention. In other words, check out Jenilee’s “Assassin”. 

It’s not only the fact that she melded Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” with Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade”, it’s the fact that she made it sound dope. Plus, she makes very NSFW videos (see above), so bonus points for that. If you can’t already tell, I’m sold on San Francisco raised and L.A. based singer, so keep it locked for another premiere from Jenilee ahead of the release of her “”Sex, Love and Lock and Load” mixtape, coming soon.
